220 is done, sort of.  I've discovered that the pyrite, whose glitter I crave, is cut too deeply by the dry grits because it's softer (Duh).  If, at 220, you spend about three times as much effort on the pyrite, it will recover without undercutting!
A perverse lure.
This thing better shine like the sun.

This process requires a constant tight focus on the particular.  I doubt there is anything closer to now.
